How to think about a protocol

A protocol is more than a dose. It's a schedule, a measurement plan, and a stop condition. Build it before you start.

Components of a protocol

  • Dose — how much per administration
  • Frequency — daily, every other day, weekly
  • Duration — 4 weeks? 12? 6 months?
  • Titration — how you ramp up to full dose
  • Measurement — what you'll track to evaluate it
  • Stop conditions — when you'll cycle off

Start low, go slow

Almost every peptide protocol benefits from a slow ramp-up. This lets you find your effective dose and reveal side-effects gradually rather than all at once.

Cycling

Most regenerative and metabolic peptides are run in cycles of 4–12 weeks, with a break of equal length between. Cycling reduces receptor desensitisation and gives your body a window to recalibrate.

If you can't tell me what you'll measure and when you'll stop, you don't have a protocol — you have a habit.

Stacking

Stacking peptides is common but not casual. Watch for redundant mechanisms (don't stack two GLP-1s) and conflicting timings (a sleep-disrupting stim with a sleep-enhancing peptide). Read every product's caution section.
